sanctuary cities try to hide I am not sure this will have too much of an effect.

The sanctuary cities will simply refuse to comply with this directive as well.

To end this problem all federal monies have to be withheld from these cities and the states that allow them. Cut the purse strings and the people in these cities will change their tune very quickly.
