What really kicked this off was that the president of the United States in one of the very first official actions of his new administration was to address members of the CIA in a space reserved to HONOR the fallen in their ranks - that is as close to a sacred space on such federal ground and the president rather than address INTELLIGENCE issues with an intelligence community that he weeks prior compared to Nazi Germany decides to talk about the media's depiction of his own popularity.

That is kinda fckd up. THEN, don doesn't let it go. That more folks showed up for Obama than for him is a fact. To note it, to make an issue of it - was his choice. To then spread FALSEHOODS about it, to send his Press Secretary out for his first address to TALK ABOUT IT and LIE about it was his choice as well.

Really then, the issue significance was then those choices.
