Winston Churchill (a favorite of mine) said a lie can get half way around the world before the truth puts it's pants on. Trump uses that statement in both ways.
When the media published disingenuous photos of his inaugural taken much earlier before the event than Obama's, he immediately fired back.
He telegraphs his objectives - not his plans. He lets the idiots in the media (and similar weak thinkers here) act like those plans must not exist or those objectives can't be done ... and then he accomplishes them in some way. He works them like a riddle. And because they are automotons attached to a liberal establishment, they come back for more, expecting that vouching for each other will continue to work. He is working them like a toreador.
Trump did this with the taco bowl (the wikileaks emails showing the DNC calling latinos taco bowls came out a few days later) and the flag burning things, among many others. His objectives then were to show people how Democrats actually objectified them in identity politics. A toreador.
It will continue. Shoe, Whizzbang and the True Conservatives™ (with their new member) will continue to whine.
This is gonna be fun.
