Long term impact of wind power. The first law of thermodynamics says you cannot get something from nothing. If we continue to build more and more windmills how will it impact our weather patterns?

Every joule that is converted from wind power to electricity reduces the energy in our atmosphere. Are we messing with a different equilibrium that may have other consequences down the road?
