LOL Sorry, couldn't resist.
My daughter just transferred from UA to MU after one semester.
Nice campus (a little hilly), nice town, good business school.
It didn't work out. Business major, grades weren't a problem. Ivy elites? IMO, it was kind of the other way around. She was a northerner. Something like a quarter of the students are from Texas. It wasn't about being rejected, it was the polite southern condescending behavior.
It might have worked out eventually, but she wasn't the only one semester transfer out from St. Louis.
And btw, so far it's great at Mizzou. She's glad she made the move.
