If anything, the mainstream media is contributing to the breakdown of the republic, due to misleading, ignorance of the facts.

The mainstream media no longer reports, it slants, propagandizes issues.

The most important the media does, is cover stories. with a pillow, until they quit breathing, so they can focus on progressive talking points.
