It was trumpian.
He did not say, "We are the ones we've been waiting for." He said now the country belongs to the people.
He did not say that this is the day that the seas stop rising.
It was....uncompromising.
I was frankly surprised at how strident it was. And pleased.
No one will note nor long remember what he said here today. But everyone will remember what he does here.
Nothing fancy, just right between the eyes.
