go to scorer will get plenty of playing time at MU and lead the team. We have several role players and guys who will be fine contributors as they age/develop, but we have no go to guys. We need 2 of them.
Phillips and Puryear are fine, but they're backups on a good team, or at least in Phillips, he's a distributor and not the primary scorer.
as the program progresses under a new coach, there are other guys/positions that we need to recruit over. For example, Nikko and Smith will be fine contributors at Center as juniors and seniors. I believe they'll get better next year as Sophs. Eventually we need better Center play. We'll need better Wing play.
But for the immediate future, in order to make this team as competitive as it can be in 2018, considering you can't do a complete roster turnover, the two spots I listed are the two spots that can make the biggest impact the fastest.
