... I would have liked to see him do better this year than he has in recruiting.

We really should have had a winning season this past year. We screwed up on defense, and I totally blame BO for that -- and our recruiting last year was very, very bad ... with a new, no-name coach and what went on, probably should have been expected.

1. really bad recruiting in 2016, step one toward oblivion

2. worse season that we should have had in 2016: step 2 toward oblivion

3. worse recruiting this year than we needed (so it appears) - step 3 toward oblivion

4. next year: pull up out of the nose-dive with 7 or 8 wins, or head straight down into the ground to crash and burn with 5 or 6 wins.
