They may or may not be better than Martin but you have to try. I am comfortable that I know Martin's ceiling and I want a higher one. Try somebody who might.
Cronin is very Martin-like but has never had the resources that Martin had at Tenn and probably at Cal even with their budget issues. He's clearly not my favorite, but worth considering. I do not believe Marshall would come at this point. I advocated for him in 2011 when nobody knew who he was and I was fuking right. You look for the next guy like that. THAT is what you do.
