If the crowd is small by historical standards, it will be very telling. A portent, even. It will support the polling that shows stalin is more popular than trump and obama is more popular than jesus.
After all the stories of violence, of protests, of terrorism, of extradorinaiy security, of boycotts...if some people stay away, don't bring their little children to an american celebration, it is proof positive that trump is an idiot.
