but that begs the question, what was his response supposed to be? What should he have done? Want to go to war (again)? Three wars in 15 years sound good? Maybe four?
That's the problem with going to war when you shouldn't. It's later a huge opportunity cost when you actually NEED or maybe should go to war or at least draw a line in the sand.
