programs operate. Alabama, serious about being competitive, goes out and hires a successful P5, Pac 10 AD to run its program. No half assed mid major stuff for the Tide. Compare and contrast.

I'm not saying Sterk isn't a good AD, but some schools just operate at a completely different level than Mizzou. Hell, even Arkansas went out and got a Rose Bowl football coach from a P5 school and CMA from a P5 school. Might not be the best coaches, but the Hogs didn't putz around hiring assistants and mid major coaches.
