years. Didn't get to see your favorites Sayers and Hadl play in college, but I was around to watch us play against Bobby Douglass, Junior and John Riggins and John Zook. Pepper Rogers' beakers beat us in Lawrence in '67 then at home 19-21 in '68.
We won in '69 and '70 which was Devine's last game at Mizzou. The following year your hero, Donald "Daffy Duck" Fambrough started coaching your beaks the same year that Coach Al started for us.
And I'm sure you remember the Chiefs wasting a draft pick in '74 on your failed beaker QB David Jaynes. What a waste that was!
I've got to hand it to you though, you continue to "wave your wheat" with pride despite the fact that your red leggers are the laughing stock of college football.
