What's not a rumor is that Porters miss Columbia and the Tolton "family". UW nearly tripled Porter Sr's salary. Parents never want to rely on kids future income for own security. Taking the job under Romar was a smart move. But if MU can build a scenario that would allow the Porter family to return to Columbia at an appropriate income, they jump on it. No guarantee a hire would secure a Porter Jr signing but highly likely.

Getting the Porters back to Columbia and the Porter brothers in MU uniforms solves so many challenges for the Tigers: recruiting, attendance, fan interest, program competitiveness.
