Beat a nationally ranked Oklahoma team in Norman. We had Thomas Gardner and they would beat our current team by 20 on a normal night. Now, that said, during his last few weeks, he had heard the rumors he would not be retained regardless of results, and then was ultimately "constructively terminated" by Gary Link, and basically checked out and his team did as well. Lost to Baylor in one of the worst games ever played. Our current team would have had a fighting chance on that night, but other than that strange circumstance, would have been beaten. That was a surreal circumstance, and a catastrophe, but our RPI, KenPom and every other rating was better that season than we have now.
