shut the program down and restart it at a later date when we have our feet back underneath us. In retrospect, MU basketball would have been considerably better off both short term and long term when Haith left if we just disbanded things for 3 years and started back up with a clean slate as a new program next year.

If Sterk really feels like we can't land a suitable candidate this offseason, then he needs to be proactively working with the SEC to get approval for MU to sit out next year's basketball season. Otherwise when we do start trying again the hole and long term implications from this cratering will simply be too large to ever dig out from under.
