Very rarely does a coach who follows a legend have a good experience. Too many doubters and people questioning his every move. And if you do have success, people will just say the previous coach did all the work of building the program into a perennial powerhouse.
At least Dabo can claim that he built the program and probably ensure his status as the best coach ever to lead Clemson.
