I think if he were to step aside mid-season or be relieved of his duties, the next game there would be a large influx of attendance and a rather passionate fan support. I do think it would be a good experience for the players to see the fanbase support them, at this point it has to be hard to play in that game atmosphere which is largely a product outside of their control.
