They're teenagers and not good d-1 basketball players. To me they're kids.

Doesn't the coach bear responsibility for holding his charges accountable for bad play? The team's won/loss record is perhaps a form of this as they have lost more than they have won and in the recent streak have lost to bad teams-that seems like accountability in that they lose through bad play
