regardless of what he inherits.

Haith is an average D-1 coach who can recruit very well (especially at a P5 school like Mizzou) and probably has average coaching/teaching skills and poor in-game adjustment skills.

He made the NCAA 2 out of 3 seasons, and never won fewer than 23 games. He left Kim Anderson with a top 20 recruiting class full of 4-star players.

It was NOT a "atrocious" hire by any means.
