would be 'did they do anything underhanded or did they just present the truth to the American people?' If they had released fake emails or fake information to damage HRC that would be one thing but if they just gave us access to the truth then I find it very hard to work up any indignation.

If you don't want to be made to look like a scumbag then try not being a scumbag. If my wife's best friend finds out I am cheating on her and rat's me out who is really at fault? Her for protecting her friend or me for banging someone else? The Dems are like the guy who got caught cheating being indignant with the person who told on them.
