of those quotes were taken out of context. Clinton did indeed describe it as a crazy system and Dayton did say it was unaffordable to an increasing number of people.
I have had health insurance my entire adult life. But since Obamacare came along and 'fixed' the system I can no longer afford to use it. Being a healthy male I always took the basic coverage that was usually fully funded by my employer that would have maximum of about $3K out of pocket. That same basic coverage now cost me about $2.5k in premiums and pays nothing until I fulfill an up front deductible of about $3k. My health care is now basically a catestrophic plan. But hey a bunch of poor people who cannot afford to use it either now have the same coverage. Yeah!
