My understanding is his hoops recruiting just picked up.
If he were asking me as an advisor, which he's not, I'd say dedicate yourself to baseball but he won't hurt himself by giving his shoulder a rest during hoops season. Athletic pitchers seem to find a way and he's a +++ athlete for MLB while just + for the NBA. Baseball is also guaranteed money and team will invest a full 5 years in him and still pay for his school.
