cows are being had by socialists (you can't make policy in 140 character increments) and from their media stooges decrying the lack of press conferences.

So um, it's working.

Why should trump talk to the press, unless it's absolutely necessary? They will spin, distort, obfuscate and lie to make him look bad and themselves look righteous.

This is the 21st century of reagan's strategy of going around the media. RR did it with speeches directly to the american people every month or so. Trump does it in 140 character blasts several times a day.

Wasn't obama lauded and applauded for his use of social media? Wasn't that hip and cool and with it, while dopes like mccain and romney were stuck using old media...?

With this it seems as with many other things, trump is the future. What he is doing is different, bold, innovative and .... working. Which means it must be condemned as unpresidential, lacking sophistication, and beneath the dignity of the office.
