on tv, they will defend ANYTHING that the administration says or does.

Anything.

And now with the government in the control of Rs and trump, republicans or at least members of the administration will do the same.

A case can be made for dismantling or fundamentally transforming the OCE, but it seemed an odd and stupid choice for that to be the first thing they do as a congress.
