failing to remove it before they lost power all Trump needs is a simply majority for his cabinet appointees. Dems even took the phillibuster off the table. That was so nice, and short sighted, of them.

My understanding is that it can be changed procedurally to apply to Supreme Court nominees as well.

The GOP needs to take full advantage of it and then promptly get rid of it so it does not come back to bite them again.
