Lots of "action." Bombs, lasers, noise, very cool.

I honestly tried to take a nap during the movie but it was too noisy. And man, was it long. Or maybe it just seemed that way.
To the extent that anyone can "care" about a character in a movie, there is not one character in the film that i gave a hoot about.
I had no idea that the kid in the beginning of the movie grew up to be the star, fifteen years later.
I had no idea that the guy who rescued her from the cave tunnel early in the movie was the oxygen needing general (?) later on.
And other than very short cameos by darth vader and princess liea, i have no idea the name of a single character in the movie.
And i don't care.
Not a single character.
And i don't know where this movie fits in the star wars trilogy, or quadrogy or octogy, or.....
Empty calories, for the ADD generation.
