He signed a contract to coach at Mizzou for 5 years. His responsibility is to do that to the best of his ability until the contract is completed or he is terminated.

If Mizzou feels he's not providing what they wanted, it's their responsibility to terminate the contract and live up to their end of the bargain and/or negotiate a settlement.
