an ad hominem is a personal attack in response to an argument instead of refuting the argument itself. My calling you and gayhard stupid was not a response to any argument. It was a comment independent of any argument therefore it is not an ad hominem. An insult is only an ad hominem if the insult is being used to discredit an argument. Simply making an insult is not an ad hominem. If your dumb ass ever took logic 101 you would know that jizzbang.
