complete scam to get as much money out of you as they could... and worse.
He said they were super friendly and seemed to have a good system in place for improving one's life. He just needed to take some test, learn how to tailor his therapy/training/education or whatever, then get started and then all of these barriers and wrong headed beliefs that were holding him back would be removed. He would become far happier, more efficient and grounded.
He did so, but at the end there was always the need to buy another course to move to the next level. He never really felt any significant improvement, but they always held that carrot out in front of him to just take that one additional course that would help unleash that hidden energy in him. It became a giant money pit, I think he may have spent tens of thousands of dollars on it & he felt trapped.
As part of their process of evaluation they would make the people tell their inmost secrets and worst and most embarrassing things they had ever done. He contended that this was used as a sort of blackmail, either implied or overt.
After a lot of money and time he got out with a very bitter view of the organization, for whatever that is worth.
