Here are a few:

1) Failed to recruit, develop and retain four-year players. After MA's recruits were gone, he relied primarily on transfers as leaders.

2) Brought in recruits who were proven to be unable to meet the expectations required to compete. The majority of the players he left behind when he bolted for Tulsa were unable to remain in the program. Ryan Rosburg is the only four-year player he recruited in three years.

3) Failed to monitor what his student-athletes were doing, leading to NCAA violations.
