He is doing the job he was hired to do and anyone would keep on doing it if they were making the kind of dough he is making. I love Mizzou and if I could get $1.5 million a year to coach them to 10 wins, I would do it. I'm sure he still believes he can still do this job and doesn't want to give up on it without being fired.

But at what point would you expect a rational person to admit their failures and just resign with a buyout? I'm sure that point is coming soon.
