Media sells soap.
One way to do that is to - yes - prognosticate about what is to come. We are at a shift. It makes sense from a human and from a business perspective to predict things that might come. I don't know what you speak of re: the media "blaming" Trump for anything.
Eight years ago, you did not see the media "holding Bush accountable" but instead predicting what might come with the new guy. Same as today.
HOWEVER - the Media is comprised of professionals very accustomed to working WITH politicians, WITH presidents. Thus when a guy comes along and calls them out, calls you out as liars and corrupt and refuses your company, what do you imagine might be some consequences of that?
