Top Left: The Electoral College Meets Monday. Here’s What to Expect.
This article first states abject facts about procedural details of the Electoral College: TRUTH.
The next paragraph states 'the loss by President-elect Donald J. Trump in the popular vote has renewed a focus on the electoral tally.'
This is FALSE and is simply peddling of a liberal viewpoint. One can just as validly write this:
"The Electoral Process, were everyone to believe equally in the rule of law, SHOULD BE A FORMALITY, but for the concerted and continuing effort by the Hillary Clinton campaign who have turned this perfunctory item in a presidential election into a potential tear in the fabric of United States as founded. Should electors block Trump or nominate Hillary that act would throw the nation into confusion and perhaps social unrest. None of that would be possible without Hillary, who has failed to resoundingly concede the election and ask her supporters to STAND DOWN and support the democratic process. Instead, she and her campaign strategists have genned up conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory in an attempt to steal the election and threaten the safe transfer of power."
And I would further say that, were the shoe on the other foot, the NYT would aggressively and willingly offer the exact same write up regarding Trump (although probably MORE SCATHING) had he done everything Hillary has done since the election. Thus the NYT is hopelessly partisan, but evilly so, as they PRETEND NOT TO BE, and offer abject descriptions of the way things are, mixed in with their opinions of what it means and where it should be going and why.
