stories of the 'evil rich'.

The essential kernel at the center of the left's philosophy is that 'men are evil'.

That's why government is required to enforce goodness.

This whole 'wealth of the cabinet' thing is just the next layer which is: the rich are extremely evil, as they exploit the poor to obtain wealth. The rich, you have to understand, are parasites, feeding off less educated, less fortunate members of society.

So the way to understand this statement, lefty to lefty, is: 'Look at evil rich Trump, he's getting his evil rich buddies together and they're going to SCREW US OVER just like they always do. Gosh I hate republicans. Gosh I hate conservatives. They're EXTRA EVIL!!!"

In the context of the dogma, this post then, flows like butter. Glorious liberalism...

Now you come along and start talking about 'ability' and 'accomplishment'. The lefty KNOWS that the wealthy didn't get their wealth from those things: THAT'S A LIE! They scream. All wealth is either inherited or gathered under false pretenses: 'filthy rich.'

You see how it hits them? They don't agree it's a fair game out there. They don't agree there is an American dream. They don't agree that the best of the best end up at the top. It's a victim's world. Without this entry point you'll never be able to talk to them.

If you want to say something interesting, start talking about how screwed and hopeless and victimized someone started out, but then ended up 'wealthy'. At least they'll listen to half that story.
