forces are the group we have tried to support, or at least want to "win". They include such as the Kurds and other more reform minded muslims who know Assad needs to go. So there are 3 competing groups in Syria at least. And the terrorist groups sometimes attack each other to get control. An underlying problem for centuries is that Sunnis and Shiites still fight each other and I guess always will.

Its a total chaotic mess that is now inevitable from the muslim world. We need to let them decide what happens. Maybe eventually they'll all kill each other. As likely as acquiring peace.
