When trump goes, the party of lindsey graham, john mccain and jeff flake can be manipulated by the NYTimes and the socialists to do their bidding.
Permanent change rarely comes from a single event. To effectively bury identity politics, the PC culture, the victim culture and the fairness culture will take generations.
PC did not suddenly spring up. It was initially mocked and lefties said it's NBD. Why are you so concerned about this one guy in this one college on this one event on this one day? Take off your tin foil hat and get real. (Kinda like same sex bathrooms...)

Twenty years ago, colleges still pretended to be bastions of free speech and the exchange of ideas.
Before obama, we thought we had the right to control our borders, unapologetically.
Before obama, we thought that a cult who wanted to cut our heads off and change our constitution to reflect sharia law, was...not good.
So we have won a battle. The war will consist of many more battles.
Trump gives us a chance. He cabinet picks give us a chance.
