Spoon left that program in ok shape and Romar didn't really improve on what Spoon did. The only reason he made the tournament his first year was because Justin Rose played out of his mind in the conf championship when they were a 9 seed and because Kenyon Martin broke his leg before the conf tourney.

I give him much more credit for pushing up UW. For better or for worse he's gotten some big name guys.

Makes me wonder what would have happened at Mizzou if Quin at taken that UW job instead of Romar.
