- Former assistant at MU under Norm Stewart, a part of two conference championships and only once in 5 seasons during his tenure did MU finish below 2nd in the Big 8.
- He was the head coach at SEMO for 10 years and won Ohio Valley regular and post season tourney, taking SEMO to NCAA tourney.
- Won the DII national title with a perfect 34-0 season and was named DII National Coach of the Year.
- Went 63-2 over a two year span, making him the winningest coach in all levels of college during that stretch including a 49 game winning streak which is the 4th longest in college basketball history.
- Worked in the NBA D-League for 2 years.
- Also was head coach at Drake and Missouri Southern, as well as an assistant at Tulsa. Took Drake to the NIT and was named the Mo Valley Coach of the Year.
Basically the rich man's Kim Anderson in terms of qualifications and accomplishments.
