I have seen the wildcats play 4 times now. They are a team struggling with depth and injury issues. They will play 7 guys on Saturday. Their starters will be forced to play 30+ minutes each and they will not look to run as much due to the fear of players getting exhausted.
1. Kadeem Allen: Explosive 2 guard being forced to play pg with the high ankle sprain to starting pg Parker Jackson-Cartright. He is a streaky shooter and is great at getting to the hole and finishing through contact. Will not kill you from 3.
2. Rawle Alkins: Best overall guard shooter at 37.9%. He can also get to the hole and is a good athlete. Tends to force offense though
3. Kobi Simmons: Good athlete (lanky freshman). Makes tough shots but misses easy looks. Not a great 3 pt shooter and will look to out-athlete whoever is guarding him. Bad passer.
4. Lauri Markannen: Best overall player, future 1st round pick. Not strong but very smooth on offense. 7 footer with range and a great mid-range game. Doesn't like contact though like a lot of Euro bigs.
5. Dusan Ristic: Huge Center, very skilled around basket, and a good rebounder. He has a decent mid-range shot. Key to him is making him tired and work hard.
Overall this is a team we can beat. Especially without Parker Jackson Cartright.
