I think you are correct to inject ku into this discussion

Back in an era before you joined there was a smattering of reasonably intelligent ku fans that frequented the site from time to time, and we had discussions as to how it could be claimed that MU ran a clean program in relation to ku. And as was explained, in that instance it is a very low benchmark for comparison because for MU to come out on top all it has to do is surpass the dirtiest program of all time. Saying MU is cleaner than ku is no testament to MU, it just means it isn't the worst.

Similarly in this instance, there is no suggestion that I'm a genius. I'm just being compared to a group of individuals of very low intelligence that makes it very difficult for me to not come out on top. I'm sure this distinction is lost on you, because you also fall in a similar group.

Their frustration is not that Kim failed, its that they still to this current day don't understand why he never had the capacity to do anything other than fail. And I imagine viewing things from such a perspective is confusing and frustrating, so its only reasonable they lash out in such a manner.
