J3 is a lot like Puryear in his overall value as a player

Puryear is a little stronger, J3 is a little longer. Both aren't great on defense. Both are sneaky in their ability to score the ball. Puryear has a better ability to go right or left. J3 plays a little higher above the rim. Neither are "go to" type players, but both are capable of being excellent contributors on a well-rounded team. Just as J3 is benefitting from having a true 7 foot big in the paint, I think Puryear would be a much better player if he didn't have to play as a big.
