other.
A couple things to consider, in my opinion:
1. The HHS job will be very political. It's not um, brain surgery, it's politics. It's getting rid of obama care. Politics, not pediatrics.
2. I have argued here before that there needs to be a cabinet level position, ideally, or a lot more attention paid to problems in the cities. It's not just housing. It's education, it's fatherless "families," it's drugs, it's crime, it's hopelessness, it's corruption, it's graft....
It's liberalism.
Blacks in our big cities' ghettos have virtually no chance of living a decent or even a long life. They are a danger in their community and a drain on the nation.
Socialists come around every four years, call Rs racist, give obama phones away and ask for the votes. See you in four years.
HUD, while not as good as a new cabinet level position to address all these issues, is the best of the existing places to attempt to address these things. He can make more of a difference at HUD than at HHS, imo.
And before the idiot chorus chimes in with "He's for big government, he's just like the democrats," let me say as i have before, that ideally imo, we get rid of the DOE, the DOE, the EPA and commerce. Make them smaller, farm their responsibilities to the states, and create the Secretary of Livable Cities position.
