The one he made was in transition. I had high hopes for him as a shooter, but I don't think it's going to blossom into something we can count on. It's getting to the point opposing teams are letting him shoot until he hits a couple. On the other hand, he does do a lot of little things that add up during the game. He will keep getting better, just don think he will ever be the shooter we hoped for. Don't get the whipping boy role he has been given by fans. It's not like we have many other options, KA said he was going to drop his minutes and then the game starts and you ask who's going to do better? Walton? Hopefully, but he is just as inconsistent. Looking forward to the transfer coming in and giving staff more options.
I thought Phillips played great until the final 6-7 minutes. So careless with ball and he wasn't the only one. Puryear walked with the ball, a completely unforced error. I saw KA come unglued after the poor pass with about 20 seconds on the shot clock. He's going to have to get over this tightening up late in games quick, or CVL is going to have to become the more prominent ball handler.....or Geist.
