Many mid major coaches make south of $500,000. For 2 or 3 times that amount they will listen.
Mizzou does not need a big name coach and I hope this ad does not waste his time letting a big name coach use him for a raise at his current institution. We just need to determine who out of the 4-8 good coaches who are available every year we like the best and go get them.
It would not take much to do a better job than our last two hires.
