who was the caller and who was the call-ee. It matters. The media is not saying who called, so i assume it was the foreigner. Trying to make it look like trump was overreaching.
Yes, i'm cynical.
I like to imagine my reaction if "the other guys" did this, and if the previous administration did, maybe they did i dunno, i would not like it.
We have one president at a time. For now and the next agonizing two months it is hussein obama. The incoming president should not attempt to usurp the power of the sitting president.
It would be nice, it would be gracious, it would be productive and presidential....and therefor it would never happen, if obama introduced his successor to other world leaders. Invited them in for a three way.
I think i am ok with this so far. Congenial congratulations and well wishes.
Similar to the carrier thing. Trump is not the president. As much as i despise obama, obama is still the president. Trump should not be showing him up.
I am not saying that trump is showing him up, events tend to show obama to be an un-American marxist clown.
We have not had a president act presidential for eight years. We can wait two more months.
I don't know where the line is, but trump should be careful not to cross it.
