It started with W. They were relentless. Yeah he made a mistake diverting to Iraq, but the media portrayed him as a tyrant.
And Obama comes along and our wars seem to expand, or at least not slow down, and there is hardly any mention of war. In fact, there is literally nothing negative or critical of the man and all of a sudden the media is on their knees.
But it was this Election that officially lost me. I'm an idiot, it took me 16 years to figure it out.
The media is done. Gonzo. Twitter can provide what the public really wants - from the horse's mouth. No portrayals or stories, twists or turns.
True journalism, however, should make a comeback. Real stuff. Even when the truth is massively boring. That will come back, I predict. In what will be one of the worst periods of time for the media industry to come, a really good journalist will make a killing.
