kids right and wrong.
And how right and wrong have changed over the decades.
And how blacks WERE discriminated against and ridiculed.
And how blacks WERE deprived of opportunities.
And how blacks WERE abused and oppressed.
Government could decide to say, "Look how far we've come. Especially wrt other nations like islamic nations who STILL live in the 9th century. We learn from our mistakes. We are a good people. People who have sinned against humanity but have repented."
It is more important to punish than to teach.
It is more important to indoctrinate than to teach.
Government schools' version of american history and nbc news....BASED ON a true story.
