loss because NC Central "is not bad". For some context, Kenpom has ratings for teams going back to the 2001-2002 season. Outside of the UMKC loss, the next worst loss was to a #179 Sam Houston State squad in 2005. NC Central was ranked #227 on Monday. So it's undeniably the worse loss for a Mizzou team not coached by Kim in 15 years. But hey, it's not as bad as losing to UMKC so that's something to hang our hat on.
